A Wedding Awaits
As a result of many couples rethinking their ceremony locations and size, A Wedding Awaits was created. This team includes Premier Wedding Officiant Annie Alexander-Kramer (The Parsonne) and creative, award winning, Wedding and Portrait Photographer Sally Carpenter.
In beautiful Vermont, at one of many suggested locations and venues, Annie and Sally will create a personalized ceremony with everlasting wedding photographs. The goal is for a stress free wedding ceremony that you will never forget. They will even bring their service to New Hampshire and surrounding New York state.
After performing ceremonies as an elected Justice of the Peace in Stowe, Vermont (my home for 25 years), I decided after moving to my dream 1825 Historic property, to get a certification as a non-denominational officiant. This afforded me a variety of ceremony choices for couples to choose from- i.e. civil (non-religious), religious and interfaith.
As a former corporate event planner, designer (which included antique acquisition for clients) and extensive work in all phases of the hospitality industry, I bring my creative side into all my ceremonies.
I have photographed over 200 weddings and I have been a serious and successful photographer in the portrait, wedding and fashion industry for over twenty-five years. While working in London, I was awarded a distinction by The Royal Photographic Society for my contemporary portraits. I have also been awarded several merits of distinction and portrait awards in the USA.
Educated as an artist and photographer I was fortunate enough to study under the late Ansel Adams and Clifford West. I also attended The Brooks Institute of Photography, UCLA and The Newport School of Photography.
